Vince can't wait for Christmas!!
After we got home Vince was in a crazy mood! He took out toys and dragged them all over the living room and was running around like a loonie!
He took presents and was making us chase him.
It was past his bedtime so I guess he was tripping!
Walk with the wisemen Cornerstone Baptist Church
We took the drive through lights display at the park last night and Vince loved it! This video is of him clapping to the music when we were waiting. I actually started the video because he was raising his hands A LOT! Of course he quit when I got the camera out. He's got some Grandma in him!
They wouldn't let us take pictures but we saw lots of different displays. Cornerstone Church had a beautiful manger light scene and a sign promoting a Walk with the wise men presentation. We decided to go since it was the last night. We waited for over 45 minutes for our turn! It was crowded! They gave us numbers and each group of 30 or so took a 15 minute journey with a wise man. It was actually pretty cool. They started with a mom and daughter and telling her the true meaning of Christmas then we went down a long hall and then outside. The had an incredible set up and different sections for scenes. They did it all! The angle appearing to Mary, Joseph's dream, looking for a place to stay, the birth of Christ, the crucifixion and the resurrection! Complete with props and LIVE animals!!!! It was really great. Pastor Bob gave a recap at the end and told everyone watching that Jesus was born to a virgin, lived and died then rose again on the third day and that he lives now and forever! AMEN!!! He also gave a moment for anyone who has not come to Christ and offered more information to them.
Reminded me of Pastor Greg....... Never leave ANYTHING OR ANYWHERE without an invitation! That makes him so Beautiful! We love you.

FEEDING DUCKS AT THE PARK!
THIS WAS REALLY FUN!
I had a Kim Byrd moment when our camera died and I cant show you all the fun we had. At least we got this video.
Ben Gill Park has a beautiful fountain and cute little bridge that goes over the big pond. We had a great time and will have to go back with a charged camera!
I can't believe we lived here all this time and didn't know about this!
What friendly ducks they have! Vince thought they were the most intriguing creatures. He just laughed and laughed.

our heart, our desire, is to see the nations worship You.
I was watching TV and came across yet ANOTHER commercial for Walmart trying to "sell" us Christmas! Yes, I said "sell " us Christmas! The add stated that "Christmas costs less at Walmart" What??? Christmas costs something?? I could not calculate the idea!
People, We are not charged anything to have Christmas! It is FREE! It will come even if we don't spend a dime, have any gifts, a tree, a turkey, ham, pie, bows, ribbons, paper, ornaments, lights, giant inflatable things in our yards, candy canes, stockings, or any of the things we stress out to spend Gods money on!
I started thinking I can't believe that Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch stole Christmas is even on the air because it says exactly this!
THEN I remembered the end of the show. The Grinch gave it all back! OK, so you say "SO" well, I'm sure a big sigh of relief came upon all kids watching as to say "that was close, but they got the stuff back yeah!!!! and they still sit down to enjoy it all!
Think about it! Why couldn't the Grinch keep the stuff or something?
Anyway, I just wanted to say PLEASE REMEMBER Christmas cost's NOTHING @ God's house.
JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON and speaking of God's money, Please remember this is the time for Lottie Moon Offering! Please give back a little of what is God's money anyway and help send out missionaries to the ends of the earth. Give to help those who have accepted the call to GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES. Thank you Pastor Greg and the entire Byrd Family for showing me the true meaning of giving. It is not to spoil our children with more junk, it is to support those in need of the one thing the store can not stock on the shelf and that is SALVATION through Jesus Christ.
