Let's go fly a kite.............

I took these pictures a few weekends ago
My card reader had suffered a horrible fate mysteriously disappeared and I had no way to copy the pictures of the culprits children.
I have since bought 4, yes 4 card readers so that when the next one disappears is eaten, I will have spare ones.  You know, you'd think I'd learned after already replacing 2 already!!
Anyway, The kids had a blast at the park. Allison loved the slide.

Vince however decided that climbing the rails was more fun.
Allison liked the little hut and stayed inside it most of the time.
The wood chips were fun too.
Oh, and I can't not blog about the giant bow that adorns the tip top of my daughters bald head!  I made it!!!  It matches a little outfit that I picked up and added hideously cute ruffles of the same fabric!!  I will post on that later. I am actually thinking of a post dedicated to Allison's room and her fall- winter clothing.  Back to the bow.....I know you have been asking yourself how I got that bow to stay on! Well, She actually has a group of long scrappy little bit of hair on the top that is just long enough to hold a bow.
Anyway, Mark and Vince flew a kite!  Allison thought it was AMAZING!!

Please disregard that pukie hat Mark is wearing.

Ta- Ta for now!

They have blessed our lives, more than they will ever know!

This is a picture of two of the most Godly people I know.  Greg and Kim Byrd.  Greg was our Pastor in Texas and they were called to become missionaries and are now in Mexico.  This beautiful family is a very big part of our lives and we miss them greatly.  Greg and Kim have prayed with us, cried with us and are great inspiration of what God can do in a life!  I know I can always call on them whenever I need them.  I can't put into words how much I miss them.  I know these two people have been on their knees for us!
I love you guys!!

much needed perfect weekend!

What a great weekend we had.  Daddy was home, we went to Chuckie Cheese, played outside and made flower headbands!!!
The sun was shining, the wind light and it was about 65 degrees!!!!  Just a really good weekend!!  I know I said that before but we rarely get Daddy ALL weekend!

She liked this and the horse the best!

Allison did not want to get off, she held on and screamed when we tried to get her off!!
Vince still doesn't quite understand the games but he did get a lot of tickets.
I guess I could have let Mark in the picture huh    hey, he was holding the camera!!!
I don't remember what we were looking at.

Vince's little friend Matthew came to visit. He just loves Vince's 4 wheeler.  we tied the wagon on and they had a blast.
We sat in the grass and the kids ran around us just laughing and having a great time.  Vince and Allison kept bringing me these flowers so I decided to make this!  I took about 15 pictures but she would not look at me! She 's busy watching the boys!  SHEESH.

I am almost finished with Allison's room, I am sending Mark to get her dresser later today but I'm not sure when he'll be here.  I am so excited!  I still need a few fillers but I hope to have it done soon.  Mark calls it her  "so girly it makes you wanna puke" room.   He loves it and he knows it!  I really miss East TX, It sure would be great to go to First Monday!!   I would kill to shop my vintage, shabby chic butt off!!!!
