My grown up young man.

Dusty is 14 and at camp with the church youth group this week. We really miss him. We got a call from his Youth director's wife Charline and at first I was wondering what has he done now???!!!!
She was very excited and told me that Dusty was like another kid! She said that he was very polite and participating in activities and was behaving like a true christian! I was amazed to this as Dusty is after all a teenager and thinks he is too cool for EVERYTHING!
I knew this young man she was speaking of was in him somewhere and I have been praying for the day God let's it out! I thank you Chris and Charline for giving yourselves to the Lord to lead the youth of our church.

Also, thank you Dusty, for allowing yourself to soak up the Word and spread it out. I am so proud of you. My young Man.

A prayer for my baby

Lord, Thank you for this precious gift.

I pray you give him:

Strong hands to help those in need.

Strong feet to "walk the walk"

Strong shoulders to help carry others burdens

Quiet ears to listen

And most of all, I pray you give him a wide open heart,
eyes that only see other as you do
and an unwavering mind for your will.

NEW ADDITION TO THE FAMILY this child is in the process of being adopted by John and Shawnna.

Please pray for the baby, John and Shawnna as he will need to stay in the NICU due to being born at 32 weeks.

I just love to play on the bed with Daddy!

Vince is getting so big and he took 6 unassisted steps at church last night! Granted he was trying to "get" Alissa his nursery buddy who is 2 months older than him and is walking very good. I will get some shots of them next week and you can see how much he loves the ladies!

Oh, he also actually stayed in the nursery during Sunday school AND children's church!!! I teach the 2&3 year olds during Sunday school and then 2-4 y olds during children's church so I am in my classroom for 2 1/2 hours or so! I don't get to go to church unless I don't have any kids! Vince used to scream and clutch his diaper bag by the door (my class is next to his) but last week he stayed for SS but I had to get him after and take him to my class but this week he stayed the whole time!!! We are so proud!
