My little baby is growing up!

Well, I posted yesterday that Vince napped in his bed, well today I said time for a nap and he got his blankie and Mark said he ain't gunna do it again! I said watch, I put him in the crib and he fussed so I told him again he was a big boy and needed to sleep in his bed. He only cried for 6 minutes and went to sleep!

I love this progress but I also want my baby back!

He is getting a crash course on how to be the big boy! Can't be under mommy's skirt forever!
I feel so bad, I spoiled him and believe me, I would TRY not to do that again!!

Any one reading that has babies, DO NOT HOLD THEM ALL THE TIME!

You know what, I snuck in his room and watched him sleep. I love my baby boy so much.

VICTORY!!!!

After 17 months, Vince is napping in his bed!! He has actually been asleep now for about an hour! He was being so cranky this morning and frankly I was getting to my whitts end. I knew he was tired, he carried around his blanket and sippy cup and just wined at my legs as I was trying to clean up in the kitchen, I told him he was a big boy and needed to try to nap by himself. I put him in his bed and of course he FREAKED! I told him to be a big boy and he cried a little then went on to sleep. YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!

My dear sister Tammy and her husband Ray came to visit from TN. We had a great time catching up and looking at decorating books. We had a few good chats and a few moments that you can only share with your sister. She brought lots of goodies and I scored a new metal box, some way cute socks, bath bubbles and and iron basket! Vince got 2 cute jackets.

She introduced Mark to Malano (?spl) cookies (poor Mark) needless to say he won't get those anymore..$$$$.

Dusty got some 1 on 1 golf instructions by the legendary Raymond Greene I'm sure you never heard of him! (Tammy's husband for those of you that aren't keeping up)

Mark, Ray and Dusty went golfing, first they hit a few in the front yard and Vince loved chasing the balls.

Debi West made a visit too, we got out my sewing machine and she made Tammy a purse!

(machine hog) It got late quick and she had to go so we put up the machine.

We had other pic's but Tammy's memory card was too small for my card reader.

Sorry I haven't posted

I have been sick with the flu for about 2 weeks now.

Fortunately, I am the only one who got it. It was aweful nasty. All I could do was sleep and Mark just swooped in and took care of everything! Vince was so good.

I still have a little cough but an feeling much better.

I am so excited! My sister Tammy and her husband Ray are coming to visit from TN. We can't wait to lay on the bed and look at cottage living magazines. She is a nut. I have learned so much about bedding from her and under her reccomendation scored my new milk white Martha Stewart "Baroque" quilt set~!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAHHHHH. It is so pretty.

Mark is calling it his "Martha Stewart is making me BROKE" quilt set.

ANYWAY..... I love bedding and I also painted my bathroom white and added a new shower curtain and stuff, I love to decorate. I also found some lovely fabric that I just had to get and new white and black towels that I used the sewing machine that my Mother In Law Marilyn gave me for Christmas to sew a border on the towels! I was squeeling with pride when Mark came home and I was on the second one!
